Main Concept for Architect'68

PAST PRESENT PERFECT

Architect'68 this year builds upon the previous Architect event, which presented an exhibition celebrating the Association's 90th anniversary. This year comes with the concept "Review Direction: Past Present Perfect," providing an excellent opportunity to reflect on the journey of Thai architecture from the past to the present—how it has traveled through stories and been passed on to the present day. Architects have collaborated with various professions from across all regions. We will explore and review the direction that Thai architecture has taken through many eras, whether it's the integration of techniques and cultures from the past, adaptation to environmental conditions and societal needs in each era, including the connection between what once was and what currently exists—how our paths and stories relate to people and the identity of architects—to look toward the future together.

"Past Present Perfect"

The "Past Present Perfect" exhibition serves as the main exhibition and an important component showcasing results from the Student Workshop.
