PAST PRESENT PERFECT Tuesday, April 29 - Sunday, May 4, 2025 At Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani
Background
The Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) has been organizing exhibitions to promote the architectural profession since 1986 under the name "ASAEXPO'25" and has held them annually (except in 1990 and 2020). To date, there have been 36 exhibitions, with approximately 400,000 visitors each year. For 2025, the ASA Executive Committee 2024-2026 has approved the organization of"ASAEXPO'25", the 37th exhibition, to be held from Tuesday, April 29 to Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Challenger Hall 1-3, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani.
Objectives:
To serve as a platform for promoting architectural professional works and association activities
To promote a medium for construction material exhibitions, gathering and providing knowledge about construction product innovations, materials, technology, and innovations related to architecture
To promote the architectural profession to association members and society, as well as provide academic services to the public and students
Concept
This year's ASA'68 builds upon previous exhibitions, following the 90th anniversary celebration of the association. With the concept "Past Present Perfect," this is an excellent opportunity to reflect on Thai architecture's journey from past to present, examining how it has evolved and been passed down to the present day. Architects have collaborated with various professions across all regions. We will explore and review the direction Thai architecture has taken through different eras, including the integration of historical techniques and culture, adaptation to environmental conditions and societal needs in each era, and the connection between what was and what is, revealing how our path and stories relate to people and architects' identities as we look toward the future together.
